Pierce Henderson

Pierce Henderson finished his senior year of interactive design at the Savannah College of Art and Design by winning a South By Southwest Award. After school he spent three years in Seattle developing Rich Internet Applications for Microsoft and Doubleclick before discovering Second Life. Here he followed the growth of a South Georgia girl’s virtual fashion hobby into a highly profitable real life business and created a feature length documentary based on that experience called Ideal World. For the last two years he has been focused on user interfaces of a stealth start-up funded by Red Point Ventures that adds virtual world concepts to the world wide web. He is currently ready to bring fashion and beauty to the rest of the web through the best methods possible, the three dimensional avatar.

Gillian edit: Pierce completed some amazing work on the core Mirrorlabs player and extensive ideation. He is currently working at a real job doing actionscript in san francisco. I thank him for his massive contribution, and would like to collaborate again at any time. Without him, this site would not be possible!
