Where can I download this software?
Mirrorlabs is a web-based application that uses the flash player. It is not currently available for download and does not run as a stand alone application.
Why do I need to use Facebook Connect to login?
I used facebook connect for the login at the current time. It was easy to implement and I wanted to take advantage ( in the near future ) of the social networking potential ( being able to view your friends avatars, gifting items.. etc ). I understand this is a drawback for people that don't use facebook or don't want to connect their avatars to their real life identity. I am going to enable another way to login other that facebook soon, i have looked into OpenID becuase livejournal uses that but would appreciate additional suggestions.

Why are the pubic area and nipples missing from the textures?
"Adult" content will become enabled after you link your Mirrorlabs account with your Second Life avatar to verify you are 18 and over.
Why are the final textures only 512×512 px?
The textures of the photoshop files Eloh Eliot has provided for this particular skin is 512×512: so the final result is also 512×512. Mirrorlabs can work with any size texture, but for this demo, I feel 512×512 is sufficient and will provide faster loading in the editing process.
